John Pierson has been a Neo-Futurist for 16 Years. He has been teaching neo-futurist techniques for the last 14 of those 16 years. Besides performing Too Much Light he has performed in and co-wrote many Chicago Neo hits including (but not limited to) – Crisis A Musical Game Show, Daredevil’s Hamlet, Fear, Chalk & Saltwater: The Ladder Project, and Simulticity. John also has a theater production and book printing company called Hope And Nonthings. Around the world he is mostly recognized for his musical exploits as the Founder and Guitarist of such bands as (but not limited to) – Screeching Weasel, Even In Blackouts, and The Mopes. He has written two novels – The Last Temptation of Clarence Odbody and Weasels In A Box. Recently, while not on stage, he works hard on a musical interview and audio storytelling podcast called Jughead’s Basement.
