Join the San Francisco Neo-Futurists for The Infinite Wrench: Best of 2017, our fourth-annual riotous round-up of 30 of our favorite plays from the past year.

2017 has been, well, 2017: a year of resistance, resilience, and radical love in dark times. Over the past year, the SF Neo-Futurist ensemble has written, produced, and performed 347 new short plays – plays that speculate on Donald Trump in the bathroom, celebrate the Folsom Street Fair, or reflect on the San Francisco city flag. Plays about fighting eviction or witnessing the birth of your first child. Plays that sing about MUNI or your mouse-infested house.

For Best of 2017, we winnowed this list down to our 30 favorites. Let’s put a lid on this year and bang on it like a steel drum: grab a friend and join us as we welcome in 2018! And, for the first time, we’ll perform Best Of over the course of two weekends to make sure everyone has a chance to celebrate. Join us on these four nights:

8 PM on Friday, Dec. 8
8 PM on Saturday, Dec. 9
8 PM on Friday, Dec. 15
8 PM on Saturday, Dec. 16

Tickets: $20 online or at the door

Out with the old, in with the Neo-Future! The San Francisco Neo-Futurists are thrilled to present “The Infinite Wrench,” our ongoing and ever-changing attempt to shift the conventions of live performance and speak to audiences, including those unreached or unmoved by traditional theater.

“The Infinite Wrench” is a mechanism that unleashes a barrage of two-minute plays that will never ask you to suspend your disbelief. Join us as we test, experiment and create an ever-evolving show to contain the irrepressible, the honest, the WTF, and the new.

The EXIT | 156 Eddy Street
Tickets: $15 online or $11- $16 at the door

Each night will have a tiny play that makes you cry, howl with laughter, question your assumptions and feel a little uncomfortable.”
